MUSIC CITY CENTER RECEIVES 2023 SMART STARS AWARD
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Music City Center is the recipient of the 2023 Smart Stars Award for Best Convention Center. The award platform is organized by Smart Meetings, a premier media outlet for meeting professionals. Winners are hand-selected by meeting planners.
“These individuals are our customers, so to be recognized by them is a great honor,” said Music City Center President and Chief Executive Officer Charles Starks. “It shows that what we do matters, and our hard work and dedication make us a preferred destination for meetings and events.”
Nashville’s convention center is among a distinguished list of award recipients in 31 categories. Winners represent hotels, resorts, properties, cruise lines, and conference and convention centers worldwide.
“I’m truly honored to acknowledge and celebrate these spectacular brands that continue to serve our community with unwavering excellence and dedication to their services,” said Smart Meetings’ Founder and Chief Executive Officer Marin Bright.
The Smart Stars Award is one of many accolades Music City Center has received in its 10-year history. The facility has been recognized for its construction, engineering, and sustainability efforts, as well as its role in the hospitality industry. Most notably, it was named a Venue of Excellence by the International Association of Venue Managers in 2017.
